Parasitic Nematodes Have Invaded | How to Eradicate

If your crops are looking yellowed, wilted or stunted and yielding poorly, your garden soil might be affected by a pesky pest called parasitic nematodes.

It is imperative and urgent that you take action to rid the soil of nematodes. Our LHCG board member, Mark Crawford, has produced a guide that explains how to recognize and deal with the problem.

We must use precautions to prevent the spread of this pest from plot to plot. Take care with tools that can exacerbate the spread. Contaminated tools should be fully washed before reuse, especially shared tools. Learn where is the best place away from the plots to wash tools.

Talk with a garden manager or board member if you are seeing signs of the pest in your plot.
